Job Description

 

The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Operations (ISAO) at the University of Louisville, College of Business seeks qualified applicants for a full-time non-tenure track, teaching-intensive faculty position to begin August 1, 2023. Expected teaching load is 4/4 per year (24 credit hours). Appointment will be at the rank of instructor or assistant professor of practice or associate professor of practice dependent upon academic credentials and experience. This position is not expected to produce research however, engagement in professional service activities for the ISAO department, college, university, and/or community is expected.

The successful candidate will teach face-to-face and online undergraduate courses in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Experience teaching Project Management is also desirable. There may be opportunities to teach graduate MBA and/or MS in Business Analytics courses dependent upon expertise and interest.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess an MBA from an AACSB-accredited university, or a closely related Master’s level degree, or a DBA/Ph.D. A Ph.D. degree is required for appointment as assistant or associate professor. The ability to develop and teach effective and innovative online courses will also be a strong consideration.
