The Department of Liberal Arts at the University of Houston-Clear Lake invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Humanities beginning Fall 2023. The Clinical Assistant Professor should have an interest in and experience teaching postcolonial theory. The area of specialization is open in terms of both geography and chronology, but both should complement rather than replicate existing program strengths.

The College of Human Sciences and Humanities (HSH) is home to over 3,000 majors who are pursuing degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
