In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Job Summary
Provides support to the Willed Body Program and anatomy laboratory by assisting in departmental goals as instructed by the Manager of the Willed Body Program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. Good verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with faculty, staff and students.
2. Experience with lab equipment and any other tools, equipment required by this position.
3. Good computer skills with Word, Excel, and any other software program required by this position. Ability to communicate by e-mail and phone.
4. Basic knowledge of human anatomy
Required Qualifications
1.Education: Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum degree preferred: Bachelor’s or equivalent.

Duties of the position are normally performed in a typical laboratory setting. While performing duties in this setting the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold (non-weather), and risk of electrical shock. The employee is regularly exposed to wet humid conditions (non-weather), moving mechanical parts, and high precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat (non-weather), and risk of radiation. The noise level in this setting is usually loud due to the noise of ventilation system and hydraulic body hoist.
