The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking statistics and biostatistics researchers for full-time faculty positions. Candidates who are interested in conducting their own funded independent research (applied or methodological) as well as in collaborating with clinical/scientific investigators as a statistical co-investigator are being sought. Areas of statistical expertise and/or applications may range from genetics to brain imaging to more complex or adaptive clinical trial designs. Because growth is sought in these areas, multiple positions are available at the assistant and associate levels. Primary selection criteria are history of productivity and collaboration and an ability to enhance an interactive and dynamic research community within and across departments in the greater Pittsburgh academic environment.
Successful candidates will join a vibrant and highly collaborative research community with a long history of excellence in basic, translational and clinical research. The Department of Psychiatry is prepared to invest substantial resources to ensure success.
Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae and a research statement to firstname.lastname@example.org.
