Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Head Men's & Women's Cross Country Coach, Asst Track & Field Coach

The Department of Physical Education/Athletics invites applications for an initial three-year appointment as Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/ Assistant Coach for Track and Field beginning Fall 2020. Assistant Professor (MA) preferred; Instructor (MA) or Associate Professor possible. Research and teaching interests might include, but are not limited to: organization and administration of athletics, sport psychology, sport sociology, wellness courses and coaching methods. In letters of application, candidates should discuss their interest in developing as a teacher and scholar in a highly selective undergraduate liberal arts college that emphasizes close student-faculty interaction. They should also discuss their potential to contribute to a college community that maintains a diversity of people and perspectives as one of its core values.
