The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a part-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in its Department of Otolaryngology that will work as 0.50 FTE in the Medical College of Georgia and a 0.50 FTE at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center for a combined 1.0 FTE. All AU faculty with VA appointments are subject to the policies of the University System of Georgia, and AU’s only obligation is to that portion of the FTE and salary which is AU.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Educate Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residents and medical students in the OR and clinical office.
Care for Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery patients.
Perform research in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
All other related duties/tasks as assigned.
Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university required; board-certified or board certified eligible and have completed fellowship training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Other Required Qualifications
Must be able to obtain a Georgia Medical License.
Assistant Professor- Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate post graduate training
Associate Professor- Mid level career faculty member with at least five years at rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training, background, and experience.

The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is 1.0 and considered full-time.
Assistant Professor- Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.
Associate Professor- Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.
