Job Description Summary
The primary responsibility of the Laboratory Manager (LM) in the Molecular Imaging research unit is to oversee implementation of a growing research portfolio. He/she will interact with the research group to coordinate study activities and the management of ongoing funded research projects. He/she will participate in management of laboratory infrastructure. The LM will interact and collaborate with the research team who conduct ongoing research projects. The LM will assure research is conducted efficiently by making sure that researchers in the group and collaborators have the necessary resources for projects. The LM will interact with regulatory entities, vendors, and suppliers to see that the laboratory is in compliance with regulations and that laboratory infrastructure is maintained. The LM should have or will be trained on university information technology. The LM will assist with the processing of research data that will be used for scientific publication and proposal development. The LM should have experience working with Microsoft Office and other productivity software. The LM will review core documents and contribute to the development of laboratory procedures. The LM will participate in research team meetings and ongoing protocol training/compliance meetings and will participate in the preparation of reports.

Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
