Join our dynamic team dedicated to training the next generation of socially responsible community mental health practitioners. Are you the colleague we are looking for to join our interdisciplinary training team? Clinical Faculty create and foster a supportive and accountable training environment for graduate students to practice and receive continuous feedback on their clinical skills and professionalism. We train master- and doctoral-level students in the fields of psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, and art therapy. Our training programs focus on developing the next generation of practitioners competent in clinical services that integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, and social determinants throughout. Our team of Clinical Faculty actively supports and engages each other in our development as practitioners, supervisors, and social justice advocates.
Clinical Faculty lead student clinical services at local partner agencies 2-3 days/week, and student didactic learning at the Chicago campus 2 days/week. Clinical Faculty are granted remote work 1 day/week as approved by the Director of Training. Clinical Faculty coordinate clinical services needs at assigned community partner site(s) in alignment with the training needs of students. As a site lead, Clinical Faculty act as a liaison and collaborator at the partner agency team to ensure ACHS trainees provide services that meet the needs of the community. Clinical faculty evaluate trainees' clinical and professional skills through live observation, supervision, seminars and didactics, and case consultation. When indicated, Clinical Faculty may also provide direct services. Clinical Faculty leverage industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of Adler University and ACHS.

Supervision (if applicable): Trainees, who include master's and doctoral interns and practicum students, and postdoctoral residents.
Work hours/Location: This role may serve in a full-time (core) capacity based on the operational needs of the program as outlined by the ACHS division's Director of Training. The hours for this position coincide with the trainees' hours, which may include evening hours, Monday through Friday, which may vary. 50% or more of the work is performed at ACHS-contracted community site partners.
Travel: Travel time of 15%; Travel to clinical sites is required locally within the Chicagoland area. Clinical Faculty may be required to travel out of state per year for professional development purposes.

Work Environment (Physical Demands): The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 70% sitting, 15% walking, and 15% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean environment.
