Position Summary:
The Web Coordinator & Strategist is responsible for the development and maintenance of all website of the University of Idaho's Auxiliary Services. Working under the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications, this position will oversee and advise on a wide breadth of Auxiliary Services' websites including VandalStore.com, Vandal Golf, cultural event ticketing, conferences, university housing, campus dining, swim center, as well as transportation and parking.
Provide management and support for the development and maintenance of website(s) presence, including design, content, marketing effectiveness and overall utility. The Coordinator plays an integral role in the success of the marketing efforts and provides guidance in the effective use of web technologies to serve both the marketing and business interests of Auxiliary Services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field; four additional years of experience with web coordination may substitute for bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient with modern HTML/JS/CSS.
- Basic knowledge of web visual design, navigation, content creation and usability.
- Ability to set priorities, accomplish objectives in a timely manner, and manage several projects at once.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating websites in a Content Management System (CMS).
- Working knowledge of search engine optimization, web analytics and web marketing principles.
Experience with:
- Google Analytics and other web analytics tools/software.
- MBS Insight.
- Typeform.
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research.
- Mac OS environment
