Adelphi University's Theater Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Acting (Voice) to start in Fall 2023. The candidate will teach courses including Voice and Diction; Dialects; Verse; and Shakespeare. There would be potential opportunities to act as vocal and dialect coach, to direct departmental productions, and to teach additional courses in the candidate's area of interest.

The Department of Theatre offers BFA degrees in Performance and Design/Technology. Our mission is to promulgate high standards in pre-professional education and training in the specific skills of acting and design/technology by providing experiential opportunities through productions, involvement in Kennedy Center College Theatre programming, New York Theatre Workshop summer programming, and through regular opportunities to network with professionals in the field.
