Performs work to assist in the organization and implementation of projects and programs. Responsibilities include activities which require knowledge of departmental procedures. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions

Ability to understand state and federal regulations and advise military-connected students. Certify enrollments for VA via VA ONCE and Hazlewood via Texas Veterans Commission's database, departmental needs reports. Act as liaison between departments and military-connected students, coordinate with those departments to improve Veterans Resource Center (VRC) exposure. Assist with VRC programming and events. Visit regional campuses to meet military-connected student needs. Perform outreach to community about Veterans Resource Center and TTUHSC programs.

Occasional Duties

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation plus one year experience in related area. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.

Pay Statement
