Major/Essential Functions
Research Lab Manager (Bioinformaticist) - Develop and employ bioanalytical methods for quantitative and qualitative analysis. Participate in related R&D, method validation, data acquisition, and statistical analysis of biological information. Design and perform Mass Spectrometry research projects with researchers. Engage in collaborative pharmacy/scientific research areas, write technical summaries and contribute to publications. Oversee operation and administration of mass spectrometry research core, to include training and oversight of users.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree; four years of job-related related experience. Additional job-related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Requires: Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or related field (Forensic Pharmacy); 3 years of experience in a biological researcher position working with LC-MS/MS (mass spectronomy); and a demonstrated knowledge of bioanalytical methods.

Pay Statement
