The Department of Psychology at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA invites applications for a 9-month appointment of a tenure track scholar in INDUSTRIAL-ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, with service to begin as early as August 7, 2023. The successful applicant will be expected to establish an independent program of research that garners extramural support, supervise and mentor graduate students, teach graduate and undergraduate classes, and participate in departmental service. A review of the applications will begin on September 16th, 2022. Applications received after September 16th, 2022, may be reviewed and advanced, in cases of compelling merit, up to the conclusion of the search process. Salary is negotiable.

Applicants must have the Doctoral degree in Psychology or related fields from an accredited institution by the time of the appointment. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
We prefer applicants who show evidence of outstanding research and teaching. We are particularly interested in scholars with advanced quantitative skills and an enthusiasm for teaching research methods. Preferred areas of specialization include modeling of process dynamics (i.e., computational modeling); occupational health, safety, and wellbeing; and research that examines the future of work, broadly construed.
