The Database Coordinator, WSRE oversees the technical and strategic activities of the station’s donor/sponsor database. Coordinates relationships with new members, established donors, and other gifting sources to enhance departmental revenues. This position monitors and reviews data entered for the processing and posting of all revenue-generating sources – such as membership pledges, underwriting, grants, corporate support and others – on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; assists in the development of relationships with outsourced vendors (i.e., call center and premium vendors); researches, analyzes, and reports on member preferences; assists in the development of newsletter and website form for member support; and develops, files, sorts, and codes donor file base in support of membership, pledge drives, special events, and any other activities that will result in station revenue. Reports to the Manager, Donor Services, WSRE.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in systems administration or accounting and one-year related experience in database processing systems OR graduation from high school or GED and five years’ experience in accounts receivable, customer account management or membership donor database processing/management. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer college-level accounting coursework, high skill level utilizing computerized database systems and data entry; excellent customer service skills; extensive experience with MS Office programs with proficiency in Excel and Word; and professional level of writing and presentation skills.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
SALARY: $26,250.00 ($13.47/hour)
