Job Description

Assistant Professor with Life Drawing and Drawing focus in the Foundation Department is a renewable non-tenure track, full-time, and benefits-eligible position. The position possesses a strong commitment to teaching a broad range of Foundation courses offered within our first-year core curriculum. The Assistant Professor is responsible for and contributes to teaching and curriculum development of undergraduate Foundation courses, student advising, departmental and college service and committee involvement, and creative professional practice. Areas of knowledge and expertise may include but are not limited to current practices in: traditional and contemporary life drawing and drawing. Full-Time Faculty are responsible for teaching effectively, pursuing ongoing professional achievement, and contributing service to their home department and the College. Fulfilling this work makes up 100% of their responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Chair, Foundation .
