Ashland University seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Department of Biology and Toxicology to begin August 2022. While this is a one-year replacement position, we anticipate a search later this year for a tenure-track faculty member to begin in August 2023. The visiting replacement faculty member would be able to apply for that position.
Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in human-cadaver based Anatomy and Physiology courses that serve nursing and other health sciences students.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Anatomy, Physiology or Animal Biology is preferred, although degrees in other fields are acceptable for candidates with appropriate teaching and research experience.
- Master's degree candidates with appropriate teaching experience will also be considered.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in teaching undergraduates.
- Research is not expected in this position but would be an option for candidates with research interests appropriate for undergraduate students.
