Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering (one-year) full time, beginning Fall 2022
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred with relevant work experience; three years of university level teaching experience preferred. Applicants must be able to teach classes offered for Pitt-Bradford's two-year engineering transfer programs, as well as new 4-year programs in Energy Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology. Experience working with college students from diverse backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise is required.
At the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford campus, we currently offer the first two years of several engineering disciplines including civil and environmental, material science, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. Successful students are eligible to apply for transfer to the University of Pittsburgh (main campus) to complete their B.S. degrees. Pitt-Bradford is implementing new B.S. degree programs in Energy Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology beginning Fall 2022. New campus facilities and fully-equipped new labs to house these programs will open in Fall 2022.
