Required Education: Ph.D. or Equivalent

Required Related Experience: Demonstrated Excellence as a medical educator (seminar and lecture). Strong administrative and communication skills with professional colleagues and students. Sufficient breadth of medical behavioral science knowledge to teach courses to medical and other health profession students. Experience in developing and evaluating medical behavioral science curricula. Capacity for making scholarly or creative contributions in the area of curriculum development and evaluation.

Job Summary

Appointment at the Assistant Professor rank will require:
1. An earned doctoral degree
2. Indication of excellence as a seminar leader and lecturer with medical and other health professional students
3. Evidence of strong communication and administrative skills
4. Excellent background and training in medical student education
5. Evidence of experience in curriculum development and evaluation with medical student courses
6. Evidence of potential for making scholarly or creative contributions in the area of medical curriculum development and evaluation
