Visiting Assistant Professor in Art History - Spring 2023
The Department of the History of Art at the University of California, Riverside has a temporary, part-time opening for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Art History for the 2022-2023 academic year. We are searching for someone to teach a graduate seminar within one of the following areas of expertise: medieval, renaissance, or baroque art. The salary for each course is approximately $11,683. Course listed below may vary in number. A Ph.D. and one year of teaching experience at the college or university level is required. Review of applications will begin 8/11/2022, and continue until positions are filled.
Teaching responsibilities include one graduate-level seminar in Spring quarter,
2023. The graduate seminar should couple the applicant's research expertise to leading issues in the field. Other responsibilities include
advising students and participating in department service. Applications must include a cover letter, CV, names of 3 academic and/or
