JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Assistant Teaching Professor of Human Development and Family Studies School of Behavioral Sciences and Education Penn State Harrisburg, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education invites applications for the non-tenure line position of Assistant Teaching Professor of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) to begin in Fall 2022. A Ph.D. in HDFS, experience teaching undergraduate courses in HDFS, evidence of scholarly activity, and a commitment to serving a diverse student population are required. This position is a full-time, limited-term, 36-weeks appointment.

The successful candidate will teach four HDFS courses per semester, advise students in the undergraduate program in HDFS, engage in scholarly activity, and provide impactful service in the community and university.
