Temporary Assistant / Associate Professor of ESL / Bilingual Education and Special Education

Lesley University seeks a temporary full time Assistant/Associate Professor of of ESL / Bilingual Education and Special Education in the Graduate School of Education. This position is a 9-month assignment that we are looking to fill right away. This position reports to the Department Chair. 

The Assistant/Associate Professor will teach courses in ESL/Bilingual education, special education and early literacy, sustain a teaching workload adequate for a 9-month contract, and participate in institutional service.

The successful candidate will have:

• Must have, or will have by August 1, 2022, a Doctorate with a concentration in a related educational field.
• Strong preparation to teach TESOL, Special Education and early literacy courses at the graduate level.
• Successful Higher Education teaching experience.
• Ability to collaborate in the design of courses and programs in TESOL/ESL/Bilingual Education and Special Education programs.
• Experience working with PreK-12 teachers.
