Job Description
The Department of Health and Exercise Science is seeking to hire a qualified individual to serve as the Interim Director of the Coordinated
Program in Dietetics (CPD), as well as teach nutrition courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. The successful candidate will
have a distribution of workload of 50% program director duties and 50% teaching.
The position is a one year, full-time temporary
position. Applicants must have a current NJ Registered Dietitian certification and at least a master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or
related field. A doctorate is preferred.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching, and prior
experience teaching in and coordinating a nutrition degree program at the university level is desired.
Successful candidates will
have the ability to serve as the director of the program and to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including but not limited to
nutritional assessment, nutrition therapy, nutrition education, nutrition for fitness, and management of food and nutrition services.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, and the university will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this
position.
