There is an expectation that the person in this position will maintain effective, civil, and respectful working relationships with the Oklahoma State University campus community and uphold a high standard of cultural competency and respect that represents the Spears School of Business' commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

All areas of finance will be considered.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to add value to the department's research mission and educational programs.  The teaching load can include undergraduate, MSQF (Master of Science in Quantitative Finance), MBA, or Ph.D. level courses.  Teaching responsibilities are primarily at the faculty member's home campus, but may be at either campus.

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate by August 1, 2023.  Our preference is for a seasoned candidate that has demonstrated they can conduct high quality research and deliver quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Participation in service activities to the academic and business communities is expected and rewarded. We offer a competitive compensation package and excellent research support, including the major finance databases and some specialized data sources, up to 40 hours of graduate assistant support, and an active department with a terrific seminar series. A successful candidate will be considered for a 3-course (9-hour) annual teaching load.

Applicants should upload: 1) a letter of application, 2) a current curriculum vita, 3) evidence of teaching effectiveness, 4) a current working paper, and 5) three letters of recommendation.

We will begin formally reviewing applications in September, 2022, and we will continue to accept and review applications until the position is filled. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.
