Job Description
The School of Professional Studies at Central Penn College is seeking a full-time Information Technology Instructor at our Summerdale Campus. The position teaches a variety of IT courses including, but not limited to networking, programming, and data modeling. Faculty also participate in advising, committee work and other campus activities. Central Penn College operates on four terms per year consisting of 11 weeks each.
Preferred and Required Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Technology or a related field.
- Industry Recognized Certifications (IRC) in Security or other relevant technology.
- Ability to develop and teach courses as part of a high-quality academic program that prepares students for professional success.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of students from diverse educational backgrounds.
- Flexibility to teach day classes on-ground at the Summerdale campus, as well as online.
