Director of Institutional Research and Records Management

Louisiana Tech University is seeking to fill the 12-month, full-time, on-site position of Director of Institutional Research and Records Management. The Director of Institutional Research and Records Management reports to the Associate Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning.  This position is responsible for gathering data; preparing reports for leadership, academic support units, state and federal agencies, and other stakeholders; and managing documentation for archival purposes.

Job Duties

• Produces accurate and timely reporting for internal and external reporting of the University to agencies including IPEDS, SACSCOC, Board of Regents, University of Louisiana System, etc.
• Coordinates and completes all external instruments for student assessment including U.S. News & World Report, Noel-Levitz student satisfaction surveys, etc.
• Establishes and adheres to development and reporting standards.
• Provides data for ad hoc requests.
• Develops the University’s Fact Book and Common Data Set.
• Organizes documentation for archival purposes.

Required Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in higher education or a related field.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Highly developed organizational skills.
• Experience in prioritizing multiple and varied projects and initiatives.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education or a related field.
• Experience in Institutional Research.
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI.
• Experience with the querying databases.

Salary is commensurate with experience and degree level.
