Job Description

Under the guidance and supervision of the Director, Vancouver Admissions, the admissions coordinator is directly responsible for ensuring data entry and integrity for all mail, inquiries, and applications.  This position also supports all admissions activities through general office organization, clerical support, student follow-up, and coordinating on-campus and virtual events. -The Admissions Coordinator leverages industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of the Vancouver Admissions Department and the institution. Supports culture development and management efforts.



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in higher education setting, administration experience preferred.





  • Strong working knowledge and experience with database management, preferably SalesForce
  • Strong computer skills with standard programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Professional and friendly in-person and phone presence
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to travel to off-campus events as needed

  • Availability to work some evening and weekends


Supervision (if applicable):  None.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Accurate collection and recording all data on inquiries and applicants for reporting purposes
  • Assists in the accurate creation and timely processing applications
  • Answers questions about Adler University programs, admissions requirements and processes, tuition and financial aid, housing, and student relocation
  • Coordinates, assists and sets up on-campus and virtual events such as open houses, information sessions, webinars and prospective student interviews
  • Conducts tours of the school as needed
  • Manages the general Admissions email inbox
  • General office support and organization
  • Prepares application files such as calculating GPA for reviewing by admissions advisors
  • Executes written and verbal correspondence to prospects and applicants
  • Assists with Admissions Advisors duties, such as calling and/or emailing prospects and applicants
  • Make sure projects that support admissions are prioritized and completed in a timely manner while maintaining data entry accuracy
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions


Work Environment (Physical Demands):  The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
