Job Description

Under general supervision, coordinate the College of Nursing clinical/skills laboratories.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare clinical/skills lab demonstrations and simulated learning activities in coordination with undergraduate and graduate faculty. Coordinate and arrange setups for skills and simulations per scheduling of eight (8) labs and two (2) Virtual Rooms.
  • Maintain data collection for statistical reports reflecting labs, simulation, skills and Inventory status. Maintain records of student attendance and skill performance in the laboratory.
  • Maintain laundry services for the College of Nursing labs.
  • Prepare and submit budget requests for supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Complete inventory of supplies and equipment for each semester.
  • Collaborate with semester coordinators, faculty and staff.
  • Survey the faculty to determine needs for new supplies and equipment to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Serve as a resource mentor for remediation of high risk students identified by faculty.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the OSHA standards of safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain all safety standards and regulations per Risk Management and Safety.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of related experience.



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.



Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
