Job Description

The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health (SPH) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor position starting in the Fall of 2022 to contribute to advancing the School’s ongoing work on social justice, anti-racism, equity, diversity and inclusion through their teaching, research, governance, and professional service. We are working to center social justice in our internal and external work as a school and are committed to addressing structural and institutional racism, and to holding ourselves accountable to this work.

We seek a faculty colleague with broad expertise in community health and health promotion, with specific expertise in addressing health inequities. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach in several content areas related to health promotion program planning, evaluation, and community health. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a robust program of research and scholarship, seek extramural funding, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and advise and mentor master’s and doctoral students. All faculty are expected to participate in program and School governance, and to engage with community organizations in collaborative research, consultation and service activities.
