The Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor (R0012733) position in Finance, beginning August 2022 to work at 2801 S. University Ave, Little Rock, AR 72204.

The Assistant Professor of Finance position is responsible for teaching in the general finance curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The university expects instructional excellence and scholarly output appropriate for a school with AACSB accreditation of its business programs. Job duties and responsibilities: Teach 3 required courses each semester of which 2 to 3 may be different preps. Classes take place in the mornings, at night, and/or online; Perform research leading to publications in nationally-recognized journals in the area of instruction; Serve on University, College and Department committees; Perform other duties as assigned.  

The position requires a PhD (Doctorate) in Finance, Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, or other subfields within finance. ABDs may be considered if all degree requirements are completed before employment commences.
