Associate / Full Professor in Educational Technology

Job Description

The College of Education invites applications for a faculty member in the area of Educational Technology. We are looking for candidates with a PhD in education who can teach on teacher training programmes preparing student teachers, with a specialisation in educational technology. Candidates are expected to have:

• A PhD in education, with a major in Educational Technology or...
• A PhD in Education with a proven track record in research and teaching in the field of Educational Technology;
• The ability to train student teachers in educational technology;
• A strong commitment to teaching excellence and student supervision at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
• A demonstrable research capability in their field of expertise.

The application package should include (1) a cover letter, (2) a detailed resume, (3) names of two references with contact information, and (4) teaching statement that includes a list of courses taught. UAEU is based in the city of Al Ain in the Abu Dhabi Emirate. This city is approximately 90 minutes' drive from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. English is the language of instruction and communication within UAEU.
