We are able to assist successful candidates who hold a PhD and are currently located outside of China to apply for a working visa, although our ability to obtain the relevant paperwork remains dependent on the developing COVID-19 situation and is subject to change. Due to the current visa policies, we are currently only able to interview staff who do not hold a doctoral degree if they are already located in mainland China or currently hold a valid Chinese working visa. This policy will be updated in line with any changes to travel restrictions in the coming months.
The English Language Centre (ELC) of the BNU-HKBU United International College (UIC) is a large and well-established department offering a range of courses and support services to students throughout their undergraduate studies. Experience in teaching English for academic purposes would be an advantage.
Benefits and Appointment Terms
A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with social insurance and housing allowance. Appointments are normally made on a 2-year basis, with the possibility of renewal dependent on successful performance review.
