Baylor University and faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences &
Disorders seek a dynamic researcher, educator, and leader to fill this Associate/Full Professor of Speech-Language Pathology beginning
August 2022.
Responsibilities: The position entails responsibilities that include teaching
undergraduate and graduate courses in our residential and online programs, maintaining an active collaborative research agenda and engaging
in departmental, university and professional service. The successful candidate is expected to have an independent research program with
potential for extramural funding and engage in collaborative research endeavors. Leadership responsibilities also will be part of this
position.
Salary and Review Date: Salary is commensurate with professional experience and
qualifications. Applicants whose philosophy is compatible with the stated mission of the University to be a world-class research institution

Qualifications:Qualifications: Qualifications include a commitment to excellence in research,
mentoring, and teaching and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences & Disorders or closely related area. Experience in leadership and
administration is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in
Communication Sciences & Disorders and an active research agenda with strong potential for external funding. Also preferred are ASHA
Certification (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
