Position Summary

The William & Mary School of Education invites applications for the position of Executive Professor of Educational Leadership, which will begin in August 2022. The Executive Professor position is a continuing, non-tenure eligible, 9-month faculty appointment with summer teaching responsibilities. The position requires teaching graduate courses in educational leadership, and advising and directing the research of Executive Ed.D. students. We seek an energetic, committed colleague who connects effectively with practitioners and scholars alike; and genuinely values ideals of collaboration, service, equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational leadership. The Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership (EPPL) Department includes master's (M.Ed.) and doctoral (Ed.D. and Ph.D.) programs in K-12 Educational Leadership; doctoral programs in Curriculum and Learning Design and Gifted Education; and master's and doctoral programs in Higher Education. The focus of this position is to contribute to the K-12 Educational Leadership program area. We offer a variety of course delivery models. The M.Ed. program is offered online and through cohorts in partnership with school districts. The Ed.D. is offered in an executive format that includes blended and online course delivery, while the Ph.D. is offered primarily in a face-to-face, on-campus format. Required Qualifications

An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in educationalleadership (or comparable area) with an emphasis on K-12 general administration and supervision.

Significant PK-12 administrative experience at the building and/or executive levels.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant teaching experience in K-12 educational leadership graduate programs

Experience designing and delivering online/hybrid instruction

Experience in developing and administering formal inter-agency and collaborative educational partnerships
