Applications are sought from outstanding individuals for the role of Deputy Dean of College, Business and Social Sciences. Reporting to the Executive Dean, this is a newly created role which will focus primarily on the themes of Research and Engagement, working alongside the other Deputy Dean, who will focus on Learning & Teaching.

Supporting on the formulation and implementation of the College's strategy, you will lead and work closely with the College's three Heads of School, team of Associate Deans, and all academics and professional colleagues.

An experienced and progressive leader and manager, you will represent the College externally with a variety of stakeholders. Engaging with these stakeholders, and the ability to lead colleagues are key to success in this exciting opportunity.

The Deputy Deanship is appointable for a term of 5 years (with the possibility of extension) and will be underpinned by a permanent academic appointment.
