Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia- Office of Academic Affairs is seeking to hire a full-time position of Psychometrician to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of rigorous assessments for the new Medical College of Georgia 3+ Curriculum. The Psychometrician will gather and evaluate evidence of content, construct, and criterion validity for each assessment instrument, as well as to collect and analyze data to establish acceptable levels of inter-rater, internal, and test-retest reliability. The Psychometrician will help to inform and operationalize new standard operating procedures in the assessment and evaluation of student performance data to align with the new learning objectives of the Medical College of Georgia 3+ Curriculum.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology with major course work in psychometric testing and with five (5) years of specialized training and experience in the areas of psychometrics and assessment procedures.
A master’s degree in psychology from an accredited college or university in Psychology with major course work in psychometric testing and with two (2) years of specialized training and experience in the areas of psychometrics and assessment procedures.
Certification as a psychometrist.
