Dean of Academic Strategy
Location: 20 John Princes Street, London, W1G OBJ and relocating to Stratford in 2023

At London College of Fashion, as part of the Stratford project (a major relocation programme delivering a new powerhouse for innovation, creativity, and learning), we are seeking a Dean of Academic Strategy to develop the College's academic strategy in order to enhance, develop and improve the student experience.
As Dean of Academic Strategy, you will work closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of College to coordinate the development and deployment of resources to ensure a culture of continuous improvement of academic provision and the student experience. This will include providing leadership of the academic EDI agenda, reflecting upon changes within the fashion industry and to oversee the development of new curriculum in the Schools and leading on an effective framework for quality assurance and enhancement. You will also provide oversight for College teaching activities.

The successful candidate will be recognised as a leading authority in their subject or profession with widespread public or professional recognition within their institution and amongst external peers based on demonstrated expertise. You will have a substantial record of teaching, research and/or professional practice in one or more of the College's specialist areas, along with a demonstrable knowledge of academic provision, trends and issues in Universities. Your application will also need to demonstrate experience of formulating strategic directions and influencing developments.
