Job Description:

 

 

Saddleback College is looking for a Part-Time Instructor for Specialized Instruction under DSPS (Disabled Students Programs and Services):

 

The minimum requirements for service as a community college faculty member to provide credit specialized instruction for students with disabilities shall be satisfied by meeting the following requirements:

 

1. Master's degree or higher in the category of disability, special education, education, psychology, educational psychology, or rehabilitation counseling from an accredited college or university; AND fifteen (15) semester units of upper division or graduate study in the area of disability, to include but not limited to:

  • Learning disabilities;
  • Developmental disabilities;
  • Deaf and hearing impaired;
  • Physical disabilities; or
  • Adapted computer technology

 

2. Valid California Community College instructor credential appropriate to the subject per Education Code 87355 (issued prior to July 1, 1990); OR

 

3. A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of item 1 above.
