The Law lab uses a combination of genetic, genomic, and biochemical techniques to understand how epigenetic modifications, like DNA and histone methylation, are established and modulated to properly regulate gene expression and promote genome stability using the plant model Arabidopsis thaliana. We are seeking highly motivated and independent postdoctoral fellows with experience in both computational and experimental aspects of chromatin biology to join our team and address questions of relevance to both agriculture and human health. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, tissue and cell-type specific regulation of chromatin modifications, epigenetic engineering, and the regulation of chromatin dynamics during DNA repair.
