Position Introduction
This student employment position is within our Food Service department. 
Student Employment at MCC requires the following:

  • Background Check
  • Completion of New Employee Training
  • Must be currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above - if this is your first semester at MCC, the GPA requirement is waived
  • If you qualify for Federal Work Study, you will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds
Position Summary
Provides assistance in the Food Service department. 
Reports to Director of Food service
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  1. 1. Assist staff with daily food preparation as assigned.
  2. Assist staff with catering preparations and service needs
  3. Assist department staff with product stocking and food deliveries.
  4. Stock and refill needs in the cafeteria. Sweep the walk-ins and storeroom. Mop if needed. 
  5. Assist staff with cleaning needs.
  6. May assist with computer data entry needs. 
Required Education High School graduate or equivalent

  • Position requires frequent bending, stretching and lifting. 
  • Ability to sit, walk and stand up to 4 hours.
