This student employment position is within our Children's Learning Center. Student Employment at MCC requires the following:

| Position Summary |
Provides assistance to teachers in the Children's Learning Center.

| Reports to | Dean of Social Sciences and Public Services |
| Essential Functions and Responsibilities |
1. Assist teacher(s) in preparation of curriculum materials.
2. Assist teacher(s) in classroom/playground set up and clean up. 3. Assist teacher(s) in supervision of children/activities. 4. Interact with children and be responsive to children's needs. 5. Perform light housekeeping tasks: laundry and cleaning/sanitizing of classroom materials. 6. Other duties as assigned by the director. |

Excellent English communication skills
Must be able to push of lift up to 50 lbs Position requires frequent bending, stretching and lifting High school diploma or equivalent Ability to sit, walk and stand up to 4 hours Some previous experience with children; a DCFS background check is required. |
