Position Introduction
This student employment position is within our Sustainability department. Student Employment at MCC requires the following:
· Background Check
· Completion of New Employee Training
· Must be currently enrolled in at least 3 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
· Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)
· If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Position Summary
Provide assistance in the Sustainability Center.
Reports to Director of Sustainability
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Manage inventory.
· Respond to questions, phone and visits.
· Assist with Green Guide Recycling Directory, Earth Month, Green Living Expo
· Variety of miscellaneous items

Required Education High School graduate or equivalent

Skills and Specifications
· Excellent English communication skills.
· Must be able to push or lift up to 50 lbs.
· Position requires frequent bending, stretching, and lifting.
· Ability to sit, walk and stand for up to 4 hours.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office products
· Ability to use office equipment (fax, copiers, etc)
· Good customer service skills, organization.
