Essential Functions and Responsibilities |
· Part-time position/Non-benefit position
· Non-Bargaining Unit Eligible · Flexible schedule · Responsible for the overall management of the program to include budget, fundraising, recruiting, organize, supervise, coordinate practice and games · Recruit and retain quality student-athletes · Enhance college/community relations · Possess a sound, committed educational philosophy that includes a strong understanding and commitment to academic, personal and student-athlete success · Provide leadership within the sport program in-accordance with department and college policies · Be on-site at all athletic practices and games · Assist students with placement to four year colleges · Adhere to the NJCAA rules and regulations · Flexible schedule · Represent McHenry County College in a professional manner |
Required Education | High School graduate or equivalent |
Other Required Qualifications |
· Coaching experience and/or playing of at least three years, preferably college, high school varsity
· Experience working with athletes, diverse or at-risk populations required · Valid Driver's License |
