Postdoctoral Fellow: Regulatory Laboratory of Dr. Satchin Panda and Dr. Dannie Engle

The Panda and Engle Labs are recruiting for a joint post-doctoral position to study connective tissue regeneration. In this fully funded collaboration, we are seeking to identify conditions, cell types, and factors that promote muscle or tendon repair and regeneration using three-dimensional organoid models. Ultimately, we will test the ability of these factors to optimize performance and accelerate repair in pre-clinical models. 

Position Description

A post-doctoral position is immediately available for team-oriented individuals with tissue culture experience. Ideal candidates should be intellectually curious, well-organized and well-versed in constructive problem solving. Experience with organoids, connective tissue biology and mouse modeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and biobanking of organoids
• Performance of biologics and compound screening in organoids and data analyses
• Preparation of data summaries and reports
• Train and coordinate with other team members
• Team meeting attendance and data presentation
• Participation in scientific conferences and symposia

Education

Ph.D. or M.D., Ph.D. in a biology or related field is required.
