Responsibilities will include serving as the Director of Neuropathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology and as the Program Director of the Departments ACGME accredited Neuropathology fellowship. Sign-out responsibilities, intraoperative consultations, on-call duties, autopsy, resident and fellow supervision and conferences are shared with other members of the neuropathology faculty. Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidates area of specialty/research expertise with a goal of developing collaborative or independent external funded research. Preferred candidates will be active in their national organizations and have experience in fostering an academic environment for medical students, residents, fellows and faculty.
M.D, M.D/ PH.D,eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota, board certified or board eligible in AP, AP/CP or AP/NP,completion of an ACGME-accredited pathology residency training program, ACGME accredited fellowship training in neuropathology, and neuropathology board certified or board eligible.
