JOB TYPE: 2-Year Fixed Term
Reporting directly to the Provost, the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness provides leadership and serves as the most senior expert for Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College relative to evidence-based measures of institutional effectiveness, assessment of academic and co-curricular programs, and compliance with governmental and accreditation accountability requirements.
The Director manages the projects and initiatives of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. This responsibility includes identifying and prioritizing institutional needs, determining research methods to be employed and directing the work of the offices Assistant Director and student employees. This position also provides leadership in comprehensive data management for the University and College as well as for all areas of academic and student affairs.
The University expects to conduct a full probationary search for its Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness as the fixed-term position approaches its completion. The fixed-term incumbent will be welcomed as an applicant in that process.
