EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full-time position; This position has the ability to work remotely
PRIMARY DUTY: The Business Analyst – FHRIS (Finance, & Human Resources Information Systems) will work with the Enterprise Applications Team and the offices of Finance (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Payroll etc.) and Human Resources to support Ellucian Banner along with other enterprise applications on campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as the liaison between the offices of Finance and Human Resources and Enterprise Applications to improve business initiatives by playing a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for the effective use of technology within the offices of Finance and Human Resources.
- Act as subject matter expert in area(s) of responsibility and participate in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations.
- Is responsible for supporting Ellucian Banner in coordination with Finance and Human Resources.
- Identify and improve efficiencies by recommending modifications to business processes and system configuration changes. Document application system configurations and procedures.
- Coordinate FHRIS third-party products that integrate with Ellucian Banner System support including but not limited to TouchNet Information Systems (student bill payment and credit card processing), NeoGov, Evisions , and UC4/Atomic Software (program submission).
- Is responsible for implementing upgrades and troubleshooting issues to improve business processing and operational efficiency.
- Define and create test plans for Ellucian released upgrades, and test procedures based on requirements. Coordinate testing and analyze test results by following up with functional users and Ellucian action line, list serves, etc.
- Continuously looking for Process Improvement and Operational Excellence to support HR and Finance offices.
- Manage competing resources and priorities.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects by coordinating with Tech resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will work the normal hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break. This position may be flexible with the hours worked to include nights and weekends when needed. This position has the capability to work on campus or include remote work.
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED: Computers, Ellucian Banner software, along with their third-party integrations

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Experience: Business Process Analysis and Improvement experience
Skills: Demonstrate strong problem solving skills; be a self-starter with a can-do attitude; excellent customer relationships skills; good communication skills; good verbal and written skills; ability to learn the Degree Works software including stylesheets, modifications, etc.
