Job Description

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this faculty member is to coordinate and deliver instruction PMD 701: Principles of Drug Action III and PMD 605 Principles of Drug Action I in the Fall semester and PMD 606: Principles of Drug Action II in the Spring semester in both the traditional and online pathways. Other coursework may be assigned at the discretion of the Chair of PSAS. FTE: 1.0 FTE Faculty, Tenure-track

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline from accredited college or university
  • Post-doctoral experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to utilize various software programs

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver instruction in PMD 701: Principles of Drug Action III and PMD 605: Principles of Drug Action I in the Fall semester, and PMD 606: Principles of Drug Action II in the Spring semester in the traditional and online pathways
  • Participate in committee assignments as required by the School.
  • Participate in service to the community in accordance with the mission of D’Youville.
  • Participate in scholarship and research that align with area of specialty that will satisfy expectations for tenure.
  • Serve as an advisor to Pharm.D students. Understanding and respecting differences can best develop in a community where members learn, live, work, and serve among individuals with diverse worldviews, identities, and values.
