The Coordinator, Admissions provides daily leadership of all admissions efforts for district admissions offices and coordinates on-going training and development for all staff. The coordinator works with the Director, Admissions to ensure the implementation of all onboarding strategies support the strategic goals of the College. Assists in student admissions processes based on state and federal laws. Explains College policies and enrollment processes to students and their families. Collaborates with team members to complete and validate college applications for all types of students. Addresses student questions and complaints in a timely fashion. Coordinates with marketing and other departments to keep admissions materials, web pages, and various publications updated. Reports to the Director, Admissions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Two years’ experience in a Student Affairs discipline. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
ANNUAL SALARY: $33,730.00
