Job Summary
Deliver first tier customer service support to the University on various Human Resources subject matters. Provide first point of contact support to calls/emails/chats/MyHelp tickets/in person requests internal and external to the University. Respond to inquiries to answer questions and resolve issues. Provide administrative support for the department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus constituents
  • Interact with University departments such as Budgets and Payroll to facilitate the completion of any duties
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and University and USG policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures
  • Special Projects as assigned
  • Provide administrative support
  • De-escalate situations through use of effective communication techniques and involve supervisor as necessary
  • Track inquiries, issues and transactions and request and communicate resolutions and updates using ticket management tools and other tracking tools
  • Meet key performance metrics per job tasks measured by department
  • Assist HR Managers with the development of standard operating procedures; Provide input to update and maintain knowledge base, FAQs, solutions and troubleshooting guides
  • Input data in various platforms to maintain employee records, to monitor HR functions, support the recruitment process, and initiate employment eligibility verification and background checks
  • Manage documents for appropriate retention. Scanning to electronic format, if necessary
  • Monitor and respond to Human Resources inquiries providing accurate, consistent and timely responses or redirect the inquiry if it needs to have someone else respond


RECORDS - DATA & REPORTING

  • Run/pull data reports for HR, campus departments, and state and federal agencies
  • Maintain a list of HRIS systems, email accounts and data reports used for Talent Acquisition and Employment Services and the security/access roles by HR positions, and any passwords used for those systems
  • Maintain data reports for Talent Acquisition and Employment Services
  • Perform auditing for information integrity
  • Serve as contact for data protection for Protected Personal Information collected on work computers/laptops for Talent Acquisition and Employment Services. Collaborate with IT and use Spirion tool. Schedule times for employees to run the app on their computers and to complete cleanup.


Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent


Required Experience

  • One or more years of related work experience


Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialized knowledge in Human Resources
  • Ability to input data into HR systems with a high level of accuracy and efficiency


Preferred Experience

  • Experience explaining employee policies and procedures
  • Experience with customer service


Proposed Salary
$30,900 - $34,350

This is a non-exempt position paid biweekly.
