Provide advising (from admission to graduation) for students in the Masters in Counseling Program, Masters in Clinical Psychology Program, Post-Master’s Certificates, and the Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. The advisor assists in monitoring and tracking students, offering support, assists faculty in monitoring program and catalog materials, processes applications, and maintains student files. In addition, the advisor oversees admissions processes for the programs and oversees orientation to the programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
80% Provide primary advising from pre-admission to graduation. Communicate with students in person (on-campus and off-campus), by phone, e-mail or other electronic communication methods to answer questions and requests for information with accurate and clear answers.|
10% Process applications and licensure requirements for Counseling and Psychology programs.
10% Other duties as assigned.
